Continuing Education Fund
In order to further develop Hong Kong’s status of a cosmopolitan city, the government established the Continuing Education Fund (CEF), which provides cash subsidies to adults who wish to pursue continuing education and training courses. Wall Street Institute (WSI) English courses qualify for CEF funding. Eligible applicants will be reimbursed 80% of their fees, subject to a maximum sum of HK$10,000, upon successful completion of a reimbursable course once they have passed a specified benchmark test such as BULATS, provided by WSI. Hong Kong residents aged from 18 to 65 (who have enrolled in and paid the tuition fee for a reimbursable course before the course commences) |

80% of fees will be reimbursed, subject to a maximum sum of HK$10,000 (including the course fee as well as the cost for taking English Benchmark Examination) |

| Regulation of Application |
Each applicant may obtain approval once only. A successful applicant may submit a maximum of four claims for reimbursement and, in any event, within four years from the date that the application was approved. |

| Application Procedures |
| (i) |
Complete the application form (SFAA 192) which is available from District Offices and the Office of the Continuing Education Fund (OCEF) and can also be downloaded from http://www.sfaa.gov.hk/cef/

| (ii) |
The completed application form together with photocopies of HKID card should be submitted by post to :

Applicants may also place their applications in the drop-in box on 12/F., Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices. |

| Language Benchmark Test |
Claimants studying language courses (e.g. BULATS) are required to pass a specified benchmark test at the specified (or higher) level before the expiry of the four year validity period. |

Application forms should be submitted before the commencement of CEF courses. |

Workplace English Campaign
The Funding Scheme for Workplace English Training was launched to enhance Hong Kong's competitive edge by heightening people's awareness of the importance of workplace English and raising their English standards. |

Its two key components are the establishment of Hong Kong Workplace English Benchmarks for various occupations and the provision of the Funding Scheme for Workplace English Training where employees will be given subsidies to study to attain the benchmarks for their occupations.
Funding is given to meet 50% of the employees English training costs and examination fees, subject to a maximum of $3,000 per person.
Reimbursement of the funding will be released to the applying company only after the employees have successfully completed a reimbursable course,after they have passed a specified benchmark test such as BULATS. Wall Street Institute is a certified BULATS agent and its course qualify for the Funding Scheme for Workplace English Training.
